Advisory: ProLiant Gen8 or ProLiant Gen9 Series Servers - HPE Insight SNMP Storage Agents Report Static Hard Drive Temperature (c05364548)

Description: On an HPE ProLiant Gen8 or ProLiant Gen9 server running a Windows operating system and HPE Insight SNMP Storage agents, the hard drive that is connected to the HPE Smart Array controller will not report the actual drive temperature. Only the initial temperature value, that is, the value that is reported when the Agents first start, will continue to be displayed and will not change even when the actual drive temperature changes.
